restriction problem

hello....on my agility 2008 R16 i put an unrestricted boss, cut violet wire, and put #82 main jet...but it goes only 55 km/h. if i plug half air hole behind the filter it goes 62/63km/h, but some friends go 65km/h plugging nothing. is there any other adjustament to do at the carburator?

..i thought the wire was green......hmmm...

..try an 85 jet..you may be running lean...

i tried an 86 jet...it runs better but doesn't go 65 km/h...i don't know why...:( the carburator is also clean

my cdi is not this. is original r16 cdi...and the restriction go out cutting violet wires..

..I bought my 08 Agility 50 new...These pics of the cdi are of STOCK cdi's...

..If you didn't cut as the pics are shown, then you may very well have a cdi problem...

..and no, there are no other carburetor adjustments to be made, that I know of...

..other than a "High flow" air intake filter, that may require some further carb tuning...


.....Anybody else agree with me??

..or have anything else to offer franx??

..franx..comparing the specs of the 2008 A50 r12 and the 2008 A50 r16...

..the A50 r12 has 3.5 horsepower..@ 7500rpm (restricted)
..the A50 r16 has 2.4 horsepower..@ 7500rpm (restricted)

..the A50 r12 weighs 92.5 kg (204 lbs)
..the A50 r16 weighs 100 kg (220.5 lbs)

Is this what your scoot looks like?
