Bye Bye Yager
« on: August 02, 2012, 08:58:36 PM »
The Kymco Website now lists it as a 'Non-Current' model.

I guess I missed my chance.

Sigh... :(

I saw that last night on KymcoUSA.
Actually, it's surprising because I believe that there is a Yager 2012.
Pretty sure you can still find some 2010 or 2012 brand new. I just bought mine; it's a 2010 model and got it for much cheaper than MSRP.

Try CycleTrader.com or sites like that.

yep, mine's a '12.

not too suprising it's "non-current". kymco is constantly tinkering with the lineup - dropping some, renaming others (i suspect some US-based focus group convinced them to rename the Dink).

I am really sorry that finances didn’t allow me to get my Yager this year and that Kymco’s new management has dropped it from their US line-up.

Since I don’t really feel like forking out an additional $1,400 bucks to buy their People GT200i I guess I will just go and get the new Honda PCX 150 water cooled scooter.

It’s a few cc’s smaller than the Yager (153cc versus 174.5cc) and you don’t get that cavernous Yager gas tank, but it’s a Honda and their level of craftsmanship and quality control is a whole nother step above Kymco’s.

You can never go wrong with a Honda…

Bye Bye Yager…

Bye Bye Kymco…

Hello Honda…

Hello PCX150…

Oddly, I say my first Yager in the wild, today. Also saw a People S 200 (and a SYM Fiddle II, a Vespa GTS250 and a couple of indeterminate Chinese somethings).

I think you will like the PCX150. Pretty much lovin' the 125.

Good luck Poots!!
The PCX150 is a great choice .... especially compared to the SH150i price wise at least.
I am sure you will be happy with it.
When I sat on it at the dealer, it reminded me of the Honda Reflex Sport.
