best tire repair kit IMHO
« on: April 26, 2013, 03:45:11 PM »
Would like to share with my Kymco buddies.
Been riding motorcycles for many years and have had different tire repair kits over the years.
This is the best and most compact I have ever used.
No electric pumps needed. Compact, total package is about 8" long and weighs 2 lbs/1oz.
In the kit I have everything needed to fix a flat.
chalk, needle nose pliers, insert handle and plug rope, squirt bottle of soapy water, valve stem, valve stem puller, cutter blade, inflator, co2.

This kit works and works good. Inflator and co2 can be purchased at bike shops.
Everything in the kit will should cost less than $50..

ps: Handle of inflator screws off to use large 40 gram canisters. Small 12 gram fit inside handle.
The reason for recommending this type of inflator is that it works good and has a trigger. A trigger is important.

Where is OZ?.

There are two of "those places", "called OZ"-I'm from the one in the middle, Kansas. He's from Australia thus reason for asking where to buy?
