What is the transmission oil lubricating? Rollers? Belt? Just trying to understand my machine more and more.
-
the belt and rollers are dry in a open case, no oil or grease,. the tranny lower part is the gears, this is where the # 90 gear oil is, take a look in your manual for the scooter you have,.
-
gears inside the transmission...

The oil lubricates the final drive, which multiplies torque and transmits power from the belt transmission to the rear wheel.
