This is my other scoot. It's a 2000 cobra sport but the previous owner
had a new motor installed. Could it be a super 9 lc coverted to ac ?
I ask because of rear disk. He told me it was from a people but rear disc ?
Also can anyone identify the tecnigas pipe ? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the pipe is an rs ll chrome but the raised badge makes me wonder.
Got an airsal T6 70cc bbk coming for it based on being cobra / super 9 ac engine.
Just don't know which kymco 2ts had a rear disc brake. I've search the web a lot.
Every week or so I try another search " kymco scooter front and rear disc " etc.
Never any results. So hopefully someone knows. Thanks !

Sorry cobra racer - not sport.

Found another picture. It's a pretty fat pipe. Maybe an RS before the RS ll is was even made :-\.
Also will keep posts to strictly super 9 from now on.
Thanks!

Yeah the Kymco Super 9 2t comes with front and rear disc brakes from the factory. Im pretty sure on both the LC and AC models.

Damn, never mind. Looks like the ac version does not have rear disc. That sucks. The brakes on my lc are AMAZING!!!!! Talking 1 finger power braking.
I am currently looking around for a 70cc kit for my LC Super 9. Any ideas where the best place to get one would be? I would like to go with the Airsal kit. Found it on Racing Planet for $233. Any where cheaper?

Hey man.....
The pipe is the RS... the 1st generation, now they have the RS2...good pipe too...
It APPEARS to me that, yes the case is a L.C. S9 that was converted to A.C....Pretty easy to convert AND a LOT cheaper to repair/build/fix VS. the L.C.
NO, the A.c. NEVER had rear disc..... nor the ppl model
Either the top end was converted to A.C.... OR the rear axle was swapped out for the L.C. axle (it is longer) to accommodate the swing arm and brakes.. THIS would be the easiest way unless you had the parts and a broken engine.
