Title: Downtown 300 seat latch mod

When I had my Burgman I put a cable on the seat release and tucked it away so I could access the trunk area if I left my key in the trunk. Has anyone figured out how to do this on the 2012 DT 300?
 Also, has anyone come up with a way to extend the drivers foot rest (ie motorcycle hwy pegs)? I am not sure why but there are very few accessories for this scoot.

You'd have to drill through fairing to attach highway pegs correctly.

Try the forum search. Footpegs, or highway bars... Something. This rings a bell, and I am pretty sure someone here has doe this.
