Title: Polini Variator

So I am ordering parts from SPI but I had a question?

Should I order an upgraded variator upgrade spring also if I get the Polini Variator or does it come with an aftermarket one already that fits?

I'm thinking that I might need to order a spring but just wanted to confirm.

The rear Contra spring is a must have. You want the rear pulley to stay closed as long as possible. This keeps you in a taller gear ratio for better take off, and hill climbing. The Malossi RED has always worked out well fr me. Ask Louie if Polini has a stiffer spring if you start to get into pipes or jug kits.
