Title: ZX50 project
Post by: TurboAnimal on July 22, 2014, 08:51:17 AM
I bought this Kymco ZX quite cheap because it's a bit broken and need restoration.

For now the Kymco ZX50 wont start but I waiting for a new battery so pretty much nothing will happen before it arrives...
Anyway I found this service manual online and I think I'll have good use for it. Maybe someone else to.

Step 1 is to get it going.

Feel free to ask questions about this ZX50 project.

While I'm waiting for a battery I'm reading this forum for information about the ZX model.

Right now I could use an "owners manual".
Could you guy's point me in the right direction?

You shouldn't need the battery to start it. If it's been sitting get the carb off and start cleaning every passage you can find. If you downloaded the service manual you don't need the owners manual.

It's been sitting for almost a whole one year.
I'll better get that carb off and start cleaning it then. Might even have time to get it off later this friday.
