Title: De-restrict 300i

Does anyone know of any restrictions that can be removed from the 300i, such as variator or exhaust washer. Thank you.

For an additional $1500 you can derestrict it to a 500 Xciting.

There are no restrictions on the 300i.

Only mopeds come restricted. Now mods, that's a whole other story!!!!

The exhaust is the only thing which restricts these bikes. The exhaust has some sort of filter and plates within the muffler which restricts the performance slightly.

The exhaust is not engineered as a performance restriction. It is engineered to provide a mix of rideability at all engine speeds, low emissions, noise reduction and affordability to the customer. Just want to make sure someone doesn't go out to buy an aftermarket exhaust expecting incredible gains for their money. Cheers.  :)
