Title: I hooked my battery up backwards!whats fried?

I guess it might be the CDI or the key switch, I hope nobody has done this, any guesses? :-\ :(

Welcome to the forum.

IF you are lucky it will only be the fuse located right next to the battery. The ZX has an AC cdi so no reverse voltage will effect it.

What happened when you installed the battery correctly? Does the bike's electric starter still work?

Have you checked for spark? Is it the Kill Switch?

Is the bike new to you or have you owned it running?
