Wife and I rolled out our scoots yesterday for the first time in over two months of really cold weather (for TN) and they fired right up! Temps made it to 70 F according to our weather station and we enjoyed about 160 miles of riding the skinny roads around here in West TN. We really needed that "fix" after being locked up for so long. Was really impressed at how well the DT300i and GTi300 did after so long and we don't have Battery Tenders like most of you do. The real plus was none of the cars or pickups or big trucks tried to kill us!

Good for you two!!
Those are both pretty nice scoots.....plenty of poop for a lone rider. Always wonder why people would think they needed any more power or speed than that.
Good to hear that folks are out having a good long scooter ride!

I live in east Tn. Have been able to ride about four times lately.
Weather here has been a little warm for January.
Feels good.

Hey, Boo! We are planning a scoot ride to Cumberland Gap April or after. Maybe we could hook up for a cup a joe.

I would like to if i'm still here. Have my house up for sale. Planning on moving further south. Not sure if, and when. We are kinda in turmoil right now. Also, wife is getting ready to retire.
Used to ride motorcycles with "our gang". We liked going to the Honda Hoot in Knoxville, the Cumberland Gap, and the BRP.
The gap is a nice ride. They use to have a World War II plane on display there, Middlesboro. Less than 10 minutes from the Gap. It was dug from deep in the ice in Alaska and rebuilt/reassembled. Looked like a new one.
I think it was a B17.
I'll try to remember about a get together. :o

Blue Ridge Parkway. One of the most beautiful places east of the Mississippi.
