Hey all,
Last year before winter hit, my Super 9 was tipped over when I parked it outside on the street by some drunk college kids. There was no serious damage to the chasis, however, my electric start switch got jammed into the plastic casing on the handlebar that it is housed in. My question is then how would one go about getting that repaired? Would it be easy enough to take apart by itself? If so how would that be done? Or should I just take it to the repair shop and have them deal with it? I look forward to hearing your advice!
Sincerely,
Brandon

My opinion, it depends on how mechanically inclined you are and how determined. I've been inside Of The throttle cable side and I've completely been through the other side, repairing and replacing the signal, horn, and light switches.
Also, the level of damage and finding a replacement part vs repairing the old one might make the difference. It's possibly universal.
With my mind set I would have already tore it apart!
If need be I may be able to take some pics of the disassembled handle. I need to go in there to fix the kill switch that has been busted since I bought mine.

Or just kick it! Mine doesn't even like the electric start now with the bbk on it... It never really has...
