Do you prefer the orange or green vests? Do you think your choice is because it's more visible? Just curious, mine is all orange with those reflector green stripes on it.

all is good as long as the cars and trucks can see you. And if the cops can find your body in the ditch ok................. :'(

Im going to vote for yellow-green neon as there are a lot of reds in the background signs, cars, stores, lights, sunburnt moons etc. But still, neon is neon and it sticks out.

Google: "Dr. Solomon and Lime Green Fire Trucks" for the professional opinion from late 70's...

I've been all HiVis yellow but as of late been rethinking it. There's a lot of yellow out there theses days.
Stigs photos got me thinking so I'm haveing some checkerboard pattern done on my vests. If you haven't seen the pics check them out.

The Mil Spec vest was designed to pass all military requirements for a mandatory reflective vest.....for 2-wheel riders on base or post.
Icon makes mil-spec vests in 2 colors.....

And

So, choose your color.
These Icon vests sell for $60, but don't pass as much air, or fit as well, or have as much reflective tape or as much hi-viz area as my $11 Berne. They do however have cool pockets and a tuna sandwich-holder pouch on the back. ?

Not very stylish but as you say gets a person on and off base. Only reason I bought one.
Well the other reason I got one is to get the tuna Sammy out of my tunnel bag. :)

But at our age, how do we get the arm back there to get the sandwich out of the pocket?

I prefer the lime green myself. I have one winter high vis. winter riding jacket. I have a lime green reflective vest for spring and summer riding.

What has this to do with safety vests????

That baby is bright!--- a very good compliment to a hi viz vest!
Yellow, lime/yellow, orange, white helmet colors ----- in that order of visibility - say some experts.
