Title: stuck gas gauge

So sitting over the winter caused my gas gauge to stick in the full postion, anyone know how to unstick it?

  Bounce the front of the scooter  up & down,. that should move the fuel gauge,

Take out the float and hit it with carb cleaner..i had to do mine the other day on my GV 250

Another thing you could try before removing the sending unit, take a metal clothes hanger and straighten a section out and make a large J shape and try to reach it in the tank and pull / push the float up and down a few times to break the corrosion loose. If this doesn't work you can take it out and clean the contacts.
