I really enjoy servicing my LIKE200i - I find it very good therapy to get a cup of Joe and the tools out on a TV table and check things under the seat bucket.
My favorite is a valve adjustment or a belt/slider change. On the LIKE200i these are pretty easy procedures - with just enough tools and/or parts involved that you feel you've accomplished something technical & useful - with minimal chance of screwing things up if you take your time.
Deglazing the ol' clutch pads or setting the valves to spec just makes you & your scoot feel better, together.

Me, too, Stig. Really like doing my own stuff. Rather ride but most work would not trust to any shop. I see you have been cleaning again with the tooth brush and Qtips!

I do too.
You could eat off that thing! Time for me to get scrubbing. :)

Are you using a degreaser or you have a new scoot

Working on your own machine is like therapy. Also you KNOW it's done right, some shops are baddddd you have no idea what I see done to scooters sometimes.

I have always done at least maintenance work on my machines and the Like is especially easy to service. Since all my previous bikes were motorcycles so I had to get used to removing bodywork. You must just take care not to break tabs and go slow. ;)

The secret to cleanliness is keeping your finger in the spark plug hole --- like this.
