So I have a completely stock Kymco People 150 and I'm getting close to the time where I am going to replace my belt and might as well upgrade the rollers.
If I am not mistaken, the people 150 comes stock with 14g rollers. Which ones should I look into upgrade to?
Most roads around me require a top speed of 50-55mph. Currently, the top speed on the scooter is enough, but seems like it works overtime to maintain high speeds.
I would appreciate all input and advice. Also, if you have any suggestions on where to purchase from, please leave a link.

Dr. Pulley 11 or 12 gram feel AWESOME in an all stock People 150.

I originally had a People 150 in 2010. I changed the rollers from the stock 14g to 13's. Gave me better acceleration without any loss in top end (about 59mph). I needed a little more for interstate commutes, so I traded for a 2012 GTI300. Really love the bike, but once again I changed out the rollers. This time I replaced the stock 15g rollers with 14g Dr Pulley Sliders. Once again a nice improvement in acceleration with no top end loss. If I had it to do again, I would have replaced the 150 rollers with Dr Pulleys. Personally I would go 1 gram lighter than your stock rollers. The lighter you go, the greater chance of top end loss. I'd talk to BettinANDlosing further about specific results with the lighter sliders. You don't want to compromise too much on your top end.

Even 11g does not decrease top speed at all. It revs fairly high at WOT so 12g might calm it down a bit, but the 11 gram FLY when you go all the way!!

So I'm thinking of grabbing some 13g Dr. Pulleys to replace my 14g stock.
Again, acceleration isn't that important to me for my commutes. It seems like I just want to maintain the high speeds with less engine torment.

I think you'll be happy with this choice. Once they're in, let us know the results.

The OEM rollers in my 2005 People 150 are 18 mm x 14 mm x 15 g. I replaced the OEM rollers with 13 g sliders and the top and bottom end is very similar to the rollers. If anything, I might have gained a little on the bottom end and lost a little on the top end but it is hard to tell. However, the acceleration with the sliders is very smooth. I have put several thousand km on the sliders now and I have been very happy with them.....no problems to date. If you need to replace the rollers, you might consider going with the Dr. Pulley sliders. I also have replaced the rollers in my recently purchased SYM HD200 with sliders and again I am very happy with them. I purchased my sliders from the seller called "autotech355" on ebay. He is from Taiwan, his prices are generally good, and surprisingly shipping has been fairly quick. Good luck!
