Title: Loose Electrical Connection....
Post by: Urbestfriend on July 28, 2015, 11:18:18 PM
Before I rip everything apart,  My Red Charge light has been intermittently lighting going down the road from vibration.  Yesterday it finally lost all power.  I pushed it across some bumps and it finally caught hold,  but the light still flashed for a while.  Appears that once it's running it can keep itself going.  Anybody experienced this?

I had the exact same problem on my GV 250.  The rear most nut on the ignition / spark plug coil is loose:

Must report this is absolutely crazy.  Didn't work on this until today.  started at the battery. Terminals clean,  battery fairly new.  Tightened the + terminal screw using an electric screwdriver.  It was 3 turns too loose.  Rode it thru the same route where I had the most trouble and it seems to be just fine.

Ahhhh, that all electrical scooter issues were so easily sorted, eh?!
Well done.
