Cell phones are handy for checking the direction and timing of a rain or snow front when you're out scooter riding.
I see that I have about 2.5 hrs of goofing before the rain rolls in....30 miles from home. No worries.
My daughter is proud of me for joining the 21st century....though I preferred the other one. Notre Dame and the Raiders and the Red Skins had great teams in those days..

I use an app called My Radar, gps location moves with you and the weather is animated. Great for those 50% chance days.

I use my old faithful Rain Alarm does the trick for me 8)

Woke up, checked cell radar. Got on the Burgman.....30 miles and 1.5 hrs later it rained on us.
Crap cell weather.com radar!!. Commy plot.

Looked outside the rock was wet, yep rain.

no cell phone here, a little rain or snow doesn't bother me either
