Title: sold my kymco..

just sold the like to my bro... he wanted to buy a like again and i had the bug for something bigger.
went to a dealer to compare...

kymco people gti 300
kymco downtown 300
daelim s3 250

the gti lacked of abs (very few have here) underseat storage un-usable and no windshield (no even an aftermarket tday). at a estimated 10k usd...

the downtown. there where no new ones available. costs the same as a people and dont have abs at all. I could wait 2 weeks... and get one. but still 10 grand is a lot for a scooter without abs! then its un questionable.. its the perfect scooter.
the test ride was amazing. loved it. but had to wait.

then the daelim... 250cc 4 valves LC fuel injected 25hp compensated brakes key less led front and rear underseat space for a full face...
rides great buuuuut not as good as a downtown.

but... for 7 grand its a huge difference..

i am going to get her on tuesday and will share some pics. buy im very axious right now!

and the best part.. wife was happy!! i thought she'd freak out... hehe

Very pretty scooter!
Compensated brakes....?  Is this like linked brakes on some Hondas?.Not ABS ....but good.
Give us a full report when you know her a little more.
Some people have very good luck with Chinese scooters.

Where are you (potentially) buying a GT, or DT for 10 grand??!! I purchased my DT for 6 K. Whoever the dealer is, is seriously overpricing their bikes.

im in argentina.. everything has a huggge plus!

linked brakes would be the correct feature.

I must say, it is a nice looking scooter. Wow, I thought everything here, in NYC area, was expensive, but that's a lot of dinero. Anyway, good for you!! Hope you enjoy it. Ride safe!!!
