Title: GPS
Post by: PaulF on July 26, 2016, 12:25:03 AM
Does anyone here use a gps.   I was looking a either a Garmin or Tom Tom motorcycle gps but the price is so expensive so I fitted one of waterproof cases from ebay and use my older Garmin gps.   Works well enough to get me where I need to go even with it's limitations.  When going slow in the traffic I can just hear the directions.  Years ago Garmin had a gps especially for scooters, Nuvi 500 which had a good mirror fitting but must not have been popular enough as they discontinued it.  http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/151972844779?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/151972844779?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

I'm thinking about buying a Sena bluetooth headset for use with my iPhone. I can leave the phone in the glovebox connected to a charger and listen to turn by turn directions.
