Post by: carmen007 on August 05, 2016, 09:37:14 PM: Yesterday while riding I started loosing power. I went from 12.5 volts down to 7 volts. No charging at all.

I highly doubt the regulator will start dropping voltage, it works, or doesn't, in my opinion.
If it is the regulator and revving does not increase voltage at the battery, Google for instructions on testing it.

The stator usually has three wires coming out of it, and each must have the same certain electrical value, but I am not electrical so can't advise further other than again to Google for instructions.

Post by: yao on August 18, 2016, 11:47:59 PM: Stator problem can also be trace back to regulator, check it and make sure you don't fry your new stator.
