Fix what? Are you working through a translator?
-
I think they are talking about all the cracking or blistering on the windscreen.
you may be able to polish it with toothpaste like you do to car headlights
-
I saw no pictures the first time! Ow! I don't know if that "crazing" can be rubbed out! Replace with something from the Italians would be the best.

how old is your scooter, that should be replaced by the dealer,. there is no fix , was it left in the sun and got to hot, ????
-
4 years old.
-
was your scooter left under a cover in the hot sun,???? it looks like tempered glass just before it falls to pieces,
-
its a 2 hand .
-
2 hand do you mean 2 layer and the second layer is seperating

Mines a Puig. See todays pictures. Bought of eBay. Keep your eye out for discounts. Mine was 140 notes, but I got it for 87.
-
is it batter than the original?
-
Yes, way better!

A new windscreen for your DT is around $100 from Leeson's.
-
i live in Israel, and the shipping is very expensive.
maybe i can found something local.
tnx!

Your local guys should be able to curve 1/8" (3 mm?) polycarbonate (Lexan) and trim to work. I have a deburring tool from Israel I used in aircraft work so your airplane guys should be able to tell you where to get polycarbonate (not Plexiglas or resin!) and who can work it. Polycarbonate is more expensive than resin in the US and must be there, too. Overall, making one will probably be less than shipping.
-
to make one, its about 120$ minimum.

Perhaps you could cut off the top half and epoxy/bolt a new piece of plastic to the lower half? The big problem is the sharp curvature of the DT windscreen. I've read that you can put plastic in the oven and bend it when it's hot.
I use my grinder with a 1/8th inch metal cutting disc to cut across windscreens, using masking tape for a guide. Don't use a saw, the screen will shatter.
In any case, I'd have at least a three inch wide glue/ bolted joint where the pieces mate. You wouldn't want the new top half to fly off at 70 mph. I guess the question is: Do you want to see...or stay out of the wind?
On ebay you can buy an adjustable plastic wind deflector for $20, postage paid from China, with hardware, that you clamp to the top of the (now cut down) screen and you can see through it. I dunno if that $20 includes postage to Israel, though.
I recently bought a new, Kymco factory-made windscreen that was a perfect fit for my Downtown 300i from Leeson's for around $100. They are at https://www.leesonsarcticcat.com/contactus.htm. (https://www.leesonsarcticcat.com/contactus.htm.) I have found them to be the cheapest and most helpful providers of Kymco parts. Ask for Lee if you call them.
Good luck.
