Days old video of unboxing review of the new KYMCO X-Town 300.
Sure looks like a nice ABS/EFI scooter at a great price.

I like the look of the x-town, the local dealer has one and it looks great, nice and slim. Not sure about the service intervals but am going to find out.

I like some of the features like sticking with analog tach and speedo. Air temp gauge is not a must-have but is nice and very Burgman! ABS on the front wheel only is way better than no ABS! NOT impressed with the smaller engine with less power. Simpler is good with just two valves but the reviewers either did not ask or think to ask if the cam followers were rollers. Why do I think this is important? What you get for your money. I thought we got a GREAT deal for the money in the DT. It would have been wonderful to see that one mature with some of the improvements now available on the Xt. May be someday these decision-makers will consider talking to some of the customers for their future plans.

Is there a benefit of only two valves? Most of the effort in checking them isn't the part where you actually measure or adjust anything.
Just based on a quick glance, it seems likely that the X-Town is an evolution of the Downtown platform?
Besides shaving off all that extraneous HP and torque, the X-Town is 30 pounds heavier.
The price is excellent though, and presumably the main improvement they were aiming for.

Factual inaccuracy.
Not the same motor as the downtown.
Sad when a motor vehicle review makes bad statements about the motor.....

Knew it had to be ClevelandMoto... I heard them talking about this one on their podcast.
