Forums are fun.
"White is easier to see......" say many studies. Many. From many countries.
A respondent on another forum took issue with our blindly following findings from unknown sources.
He could be on to something.
Payola from white paint producers to the World Health Organization, and ER medicos, and a smattering of international traffic safety groups.
Stig...stockpiling pickles and digging up the back yard before they come for us.

I've heard the arguement that hi vis won't guarantee your safety so why bother wearing it ::) No Hi vis won't guarantee that people won't see you. It just improves the odds.
But.....if a study came out that the safest color was pink, I don't think I would run out and buy pink riding gear 8)

Also have to accept that "when your number is up . . it's up" . . .

That may be true but I still try to stack the odds in my favor......within reason that is. I know that riding is dangerous but I'm NOT going to give up riding until they pry my bikes handlebars from my cold, dead hands 8)

You know, the safest color MIGHT be pink. Chances are they didn't include that in any study.
