Title: Hit a bee with my knee at 30 mph today on the 150i
Post by: Snoopzilla on September 03, 2018, 03:42:20 AM
Needless to say it stung me right away.  Damn that smarts.  And for some funny reason Tapatalk won’t let me load the pic of my knee all swollen from the sting, must think I am trying to load some porn or something....(guess it almost could look like a women’s breast and nipple, had no idea it filtered like that)

Saved me from acting on it....fake breasts could lead to all sorts of foolishness.😊
If you'd been wearing riding trousers that bee'd be stuck in your D30 pad, and you'd have a souvenir.
Happy Labor Day. (told Holly, our barista this morning - that it was good to see someone working hard on Labor Day. That made her happy. I think.)

A saying from the 30's: "It's the bee's knees." Don't ask what that means...

never been stung but I have had a fair number of bees fly into my helmet while riding (usually have the visor cracked open in town).

It is very unnerving to see a bee walking across your cheek under your eye...I usually pull over ASAP and remove the helmet...and rarely ever find the bee! They must fly out when they get the chance.

That's one of the reasons I'll likely put a windscreen back on my GT 300i.  I didn't realize how much that thing blocked until it was gone.
