Any available that will fit the people 150? Looking for hard saddlebags. Can't seem to find any.
-
Haven't seen any either could probably make something work,if you need some storage the givi top box(e450) is pretty nice. You can fit quite alot in there and it's removable. I got a full helmet a half helmet plus a 12 pack in there before, pretty roomy.
-
I dont really like the look of top cases though :(.
Is the givi easy to install? What's involved?
-
I hear ya. They are pricey and some of them you need to get an install kit to make it happen. Pretty easy to put on, it all mounts to the rack hardware. I was lucky to pick up a couple scoots with them allredy mounted. I did not think much of them at first, but they are now mounted to my personal scoots ;D
If you can get a good look at some hard cases most can be mounted with a little ingenuity.
-
Are yours wired to the brakes?
-
Not at the time but can be done pretty easy, I like the quick release option ,but i'm sure you could put a nice plug in line.

I'd love to see a pic. I'm wondering how large this case looks on a People 150.
-
This is on a people 50 and an s200
-
Ok 50cc

Hmm, guess it doesn't look too bad. Givi's are expensive though, might pick up a shad instead. Nice and cheap.
-
I had a shad on one and it wasn't bad at all. Not as thick as the givi but held up well.
I would get the givi if money was no object :D But like I said they came with some other scoots I had planned to sale and after a few test rides I decided they were a great addition to the scoots and would look much better on my personal bikes and quite functional. ;D
If ya can get a detachable one I think they are awsome! Don't need it pull it off in seconds.

The Givis are on sale at Motorsport Scooters in San Diego. They Ship.

So i wanted to be cheap and not spend that much money on a top case, so i got me these from ebay:

And this is a pic of the saddlebags on a Honda Met:

I think they look pretty good, and for $65 shipped, you get saddle bags and some extra bags. Made of real buffalo leather too, so the quality should be decent. The roll bag is pretty big, i'll probably be using that along with the saddle bags. And the other ones i don't think i have any use for.

Wow! Would there be room to ride with all installed ;D Thats a great price.

Sorry to butt in on this late, got a pair of these from a local dealer about a year and a half ago and they've been fantastic. They fit on my P150 perfectly (backward) and still leave room for my chunkier passengers to comfortably reach the foot pegs. The storage space has been incredible.. I prefer to use a bungee net instead of a backrack add (for odd shaped loads, massive grocery trips, etc.) and the saddle bags provide plenty of places to strap my net down. As an added benefit they each fit a 6 pack nicely with a bit of extra room..
