Title: Change out dummy blinkers in 2005 kymco super 9 LC
Post by: Ajairborne1 on May 26, 2019, 08:10:16 PM
I am really wanting to make my scooter have turn signals in the body of the scooter and not under the handlebars. In the body there are left and right blinkers that are all plastic and no actual spot for a bulb. Anyone know how to fix this so I can put a bulb in the body of the scooter?

My front signals are down by the headlight. I believe this is the stock Eru/Canada setup.

This is easy to do, you need to buy bulbs and sockets from an auto supply store.  The bulbs must be small, orange bulbs which you might need to special order or online order.  Big standard signal bulbs are too big.  I simply glue the auto sockets into the reflector with PL400 construction adhesive.  Everything fits into place, almost a no-brainer.  Then I can use the handle-bar turn-signal brackets to attach a windshield at another time.
