Title: What color is it?

New and hopefully long time member here.

Today I bought a 2013 Kymco 500i with 1000 miles on it and I have a couple of questions.

1. I paid 1700.00 was this too much? It is in excellent condition
2. It is a gold/orange color and I need to buy touch up paint for it but I do not know what code to order or the best place online or other wise to order it.

Nice condition ---- but is it an excellent runner, too?!
1000 on a 7 yr old scooter means it had been sitting, unused, or very lightly ridden each week. (for mail at the trailer park?)

If all is good, then $1700 for a good running, excellent condition 500cc scooter seems well played.

Is there a color code sticker somewhere under the seat?
Dealer parts list may indicate the color name. Try looking at "General Discussion", sticky upper portion of that page - "Buy Kymco parts here"

I bought a 2013 500RI with ABS with 6500 km for 1500 canadian.

The color code issued by Kymco is YR380MA-Deep Golden. The code is a Kymco # only and likely does not relate to PPG or Dupont, etc.
Kymco does not supply touch up paint
I would suggest contacting Colorite. The are MC paint specialists.
