Hi, I have a super 8 50cc 4t 2018 model.
Am I right in thinking that it doesnt have a cdi unit and that the throttle body is the ECU.
I wanted to de-restrict it, it came with a de-restriced cdi but I have spent a few hours trying to find it with no luck.
I have a feeling that I have to do a remap instead.
Also if it is an ecu can I plug it in with diag software like a car.

According to the parts diagram at solanocycle.com the 4t Super 8 does have a CDI and it appears to have a conventional carburetor.
-
Its definitely injection.

I just had a look at that link and I couldn't seem to find the injector version either.

Cool. Could you give us a photo of the fuel injection?

Yes I'll get one later for you.

On the above photo, the thick black arrow point towards the ECU, the thinner arrow points towards the injector.

I think someone made an aftermarket EFI for these but I did not realize that Kymco installed their own at the factory.

From what I've read it's only on the latest models.

Here in europe EFI began on Super 8 50 4 stroke in 2016.

Looks like the all in one scheme used on the Like....
