So i noticed the tear shock has notches to adjust it.
Does this only affect the ride quality or does it affect the ride hight as well?
Anybody have experience adjusting it?
-
G'day Glopez, that adjustment will adjust your spring preload, I don't think it will adjust the free standing height, but will enable it to hold up with more weight.
-
Thats what I thought mate.
I've got a Sheila that's about an inch too short to touch the road with her feet when she comes to a stop on the scoot.
Platform shoes!

you can lower the front
i lowered mine i think it was an 1 5/8
just take the four bolt out hold the forks push them up then tighten them down

If you back off the adjustment on the shock to the softest setting, then, when she sits on the scoot it will sit a little lower. Every little bit does help.

I am 5ft 11 240 lbs. On every scoot and every bike I have ever driven that has preload adjustment, I see no point keeping it anywhere else but on the hardest position.
Maybe if you are 100 lbs... but I have not been that since I was 7. :)

Yep, know the feeling, he was asking about lowering the scoot for a shorter person, softening the rear shock will allow the scoot to sit a little lower with a little weight on it.
-
can the shocks on the agilty be adjusted or the front end.

..only by dis-assembling and adjusting the amount of fluid, so i believe..
..not an easy task...
-
so it would be better to go with smaller shocks.
-
..i dunno...never fooled with front shocks...
-
was thinking about the back shocks but I think if I do that the side kick stand might hit.
-
..you trying to lower your scoot??
-
ya just a little any idas. I have a few smaller shocks laying around I was going to try.with winter comeing it would be nice to be a little lower.
