Title: Grand Dink 150 key( hole) question?

Dear tribe-elders, has someone any idea what purpose this opening, shaped like a vehicles keyhole on my Grand Dink, MY 2003 (pls see pic) serves?

Could it possible be a tab to hold the instrument panel in the correct position?

No, don't think so, if you push the key inside it feels "rubbery".

is it some sort of 'reset' button that you use your key with? If you push your key in..does it change anything? Oil change reminder light, etc.?

Was to lazy to go and ask my sooo-competent dealership
 But will find out and tell.
