Title: Like 150i is humming along.
Post by: klaviator on June 28, 2021, 02:09:32 AM
My Like seems to be running exceptionally well lately.  I've got around 12,300 miles on it.  I got 92 MPG on my last fill up.

Some recent pics:

They are nice looking scooters!
Wish I could have test ridden one.
My dealer has so few of any models - he does not have demos....a shame - because he has a huge parking lot and a mile long lightly trafficked blvd out front of their dealership.

My test ride on the Forza was it's first ride across town to my house after writing the check. (in the bidding for my $ was a BV350 Piaggio - that dealer wanted me to take it for a w/e test ride! Working the phones I got them to match ea. other's price. After the Vespa dealer folded - glad I wasn't sorting a BV350 by myself. 2 Honda Power sellers nearby)
Going from a LIKE200i to the bigger Forza was much easier than imagined. Low center of gravity and smooth controls.

Thanks for posting!

The BV 350 is a nice scooter, I wanted a Aprilia Scarabeo 500 but the same issue no dealers near by. Since the BMW motorcycle dealer closed in Wichita I have to order parts from Kansas City.   I like the convenience of a dealer close by especially one that I trust.

Klaviator -enjoy the pictures and your Kymco is doing exactly what it's supposed to do,  huming right along.

I filled up the Like again today.  92 MPG again.  I keep track of my mileage and I rode 590 miles on my Like this month just taking short rides around town.

The number one question I get asked about my scooter is what kind of gas mileage does it get. They seem surprised when I tell them I never have checked it.

My X-Town 300 seems to return mid-70’s mpg (about 62 US?) no matter what. That’ll do me!

What top case and luggage rack are you using? I find it almost impossible to find accessories for Kymco scooters in the US.

Not sure if this question is aimed at me or KK / Klav?  Can't speak for them, but mine is a Givi Box on a Givi rack and plate as it was readily available for the XT300.  Been in constant use now for nearly 2 years and is working just fine.  It's my third Givi box used now on 2 scooters and one Triumph Street Triple and I am thoroughly impressed with quality, fit and the versatility it gives to the scooter.

It was aimed at the Kymco LIKE 150i owners  ;)
But thanks anyway.

It's a Givi Rack and Givi tail box.  I got it through the dealer but you can also order Givi stuff from Tour and Ride:  https://tourandride.com/ (https://tourandride.com/)

I recently changed the oil and washed my Like in preparation for a week of riding in the North Carolina Mountains.  I did one last local ride last evening.
