Just got the scooter and it seems slow. Takes forever to 30mph and I’m lucky to get 35mph downhill.
What can I do. I thought being a 2 stroke it would be quicker.

How many miles on this scooter?  Is it stock as far as you know?  Does it have a de-restricted boss?

970 miles. Have no idea what a “derestricted boss” is. Sorry if it’s something simple. I’m mechanically declined.

Maybe give your local scooter shop a call. Check what a simple de-restrict would cost?

8 years old.  Did it sit without being used shortly before you got it?  What have you done to it?
