finally found the source of my gas leak
https://photos.app.goo.gl/DMDM5XbUsDmRNWTdA
i adjusted my valves and when i started the bike i noticed gas pooling on the top of the tank. Any ideas how this could have happened? Im thinking about using some silicon to seal it.

Pretty sure there was a recall on this leak up by the top of the tank.

This sounds like a job for the dealer.

Can you measure the original?
Lots of scooter gy6 gaskets on ebay.
Call your dealer??
Good luck!

the pick is of the original. i think the one i replaced it with is just a little too thin. i just got some thicker ones that look too big though hahaha. i think i can make it work though no worries. The gy6 ones are too small though.
Anyways I'm taking the scooter to a dealer tomorrow morning for the repair. Definitely curious to see if they'll just put some silicon over the wires or replace the entire pump. I'll definitely update you guys after its all said and done.
