Title: Bleed Coolant on 2006 GV250
Post by: baxterdog on January 13, 2023, 04:41:31 PM
On my Grandvista 250, I drained the coolant and replaced, now the temp goes up to four + bars when it warms up. Does any know where the coolant air bleed screw is? The drain screw is by the water pump on the bottom right.  It may not have a bleed screw but the manual mentions bleeding the air.  I may have to remove the covers to access the radiator cap and refil from there???

@baxterdog, welcome here.
Your waterpump has two hoses lead to.
A)Take the smaller one off pump and ventilate your cooling system, refill via expansion tank.

In certain  cases doesn't work in this way.

B) Front fairing off, open radiator, top up fluid, close radiator, let motor idle.....
Again this two or three times until your system is filled.
Check expsnsion tank now, don't overfill.
