Was replacing a burnt bulb in my Chevy truck and found these two tail-light fasteners nearly corroded and stuck fast.
Loosened them - then figured I better wire brush them and apply a squirt of ACF-50 to the nut and screw to slow further corrosion.

I figured it is time again, 1st warmish day I get - to clean up both scoots and apply ACF-50 to areas....like the muffler. ( a replacement is expensive!)

the smell of ACF-50 cooking into my scooter, after a thorough application, is music to my nose!

love the ACF-50! Have never smelled it burning off, though..

Was 59F yesterday, 2 deg under the record high temp for this date that was set in the late 1800s. So I also went out and applied ACF-50 to the AK 550. After almost 2 winter seasons of riding in the cold with the road conditions that come with that the exhaust system is still looking really good. I didn't use ACF-50 last year but figured I needed to get it for this year before corrosion started to build up.
