Title: Is there anything supposed to be in this hole on the carb?
Post by: GoVanGo on June 13, 2023, 04:17:09 AM
Sorry if this is wrong forum for this but I need a quick answer thanks.
The hole dark area to the right of the brass metal part is that supposed to have something?
Is that the mixture screw spot?
I looked at exploded diagrams but they make no sense to me .

Just is that were an idle mixture screw supposed to go?  My carb has nothing there and I been having idle issues.
thanks

Hard to see whether is a tread in there  and a needle seat. If yes, then an idle screw most likely missing.

Yep was a thread there and it was missing that screw and that solved why my scooter was dying at idle. How it went missing I dont know but I know it was when I was running in the back roads and going over hills and valleys.

Well all good now , they run better when they have that mixture screw in :)
