Title: kymco 500 xciting fuel injection please help

My kymco stopped running, with the culprit suspected to be the fuel pump as there was no priming noise when you turned on the ignition. Replaced the fuel pump and now it primes and runs for a second or two but will not keep going. I am stumped as nothing else on the bike has been touched.
I sure could use some help or advice. Thanks so much in advance

Pls have a look at Big bore Xciting 500 chapter, I think this has been talked over there several times, some pages back.
Cause could be:
-fuel line/filter choked/blocked
-electric faulty (check cables/ connectors/ fuses)
Does it start?
