Title: Brag
Post by: CROSSBOLT on January 19, 2024, 10:46:53 PM
I am running huge risk but I have been blessed with reliable starts during this super coldy, moldy, snowy, icy spell! That lawn & garden battery with all six cells working has been a dream!

I'm still on my 2015 oem battery on my 450i, I'll be going out in a couple hours here in single digits, hasn't run in a week, to do some clean up snow plowing I've been putting off, cause its been so cold, haven't seen above freezing in a couple weeks

Yeah, what's the difference? I don't doubt your story one bit but I am puzzled by the vast difference. And you work yours with snow plows and stuff, right?

I dunno, I'm on my 4th battery on my '16 K-Pipe, and 2nd on my '22 AK550

I am too. I keep a battery tender on it. It has been cranking in the single digit temps. I am going to replace it pretty soon tho. I do no snowplowing and only winch occasionally.

argh! hopped in my Silverado this morning to go to a doctors appointment, click click, so I went in my Tacoma instead. I switch between the 2 trucks = they both get about 100 miles a month, it was in single digits and been 2 week in sub freezing since last time I drove it, I've had the Silverado 7 years, and don't remember ever putting a battery in it

I'll hook it up to my charger/booster/tester tomorrow morning and maybe drive the Silverado to voting in tomorrow's primary
