I swing by my dealer about twice a year - or less.
Was at my credit union nearby - so thought, 'what the heck!'
The salesman was excited to see someone over by the scooters - and rushed out a new ADV for me to sit on -
"Hmmm?".... I bottomed that 'off-road-capable-suspension' as soon as I sat and bounced ever so gently! (Not so the Trail Honda)
Probably just need to wind up that pretty shock back there?
I spent most of my time looking at and sitting a pair of other Hondas.
The new Trail and a Cub.
I noted that I have plenty of knee room on both the Trail and the Cub - more than on my LIKE200i and much more than on my Forza 300 yrs ago.
As always - impressed with the fit & finish of the Hondas!
Too bad about the matte paint on the ADV and the 2 big Kymcos.

The Cub has a rear drum brake - the Trail a disc back there.

One cool thing about my dealer is his collection of vintage bikes up there on the wall!

Talking with a middle-aged salesman - he has a Agility 125. We agreed that scoot is probably the VW Beetle of the whole Kymco line. Hard to kill it.

I'd prefer the red Trail ....and the Blue/Red/White Cub. He said he could dealer trade of them!

Looks a great selection of machines there Stig. 👍

my local dealer has moved bike & scooters into storage, showroom is filled with sleds

Nice pictures as always, Stig! Tell me, Tom: doncha just love the aroma of a bike shop? New stuff, especially stuff with engines and tires, wings, sails or tracks have that "aroma" of adventure! Or maintenance...whichever comes first! Har, har!

I didn't see any snowmobiles. But he had yhe biggest Sea-Doos I've ever seen. Giant off road things, big 3 wheel things, very few used bikes. (https://i.postimg.cc/sXpmmP70/20240123-123101.jpg)
A 200 Suzuki, and a nice clean 300 bike.

Yes Karl, there are areas of this big showroom where a thrown dime wouldn't reach the floor. Jackets, gloves, helmets, service liquids by brand of motorcycle, etc. Then back through the rear doors you pass through an canyon of 1,000s of tires to reach the service bay in this large building.
This time of year the parts counter is vacant, 2 old guys in offices, one salesman on the floor. I imagine things are busier back in the service area.
If they closed, there isn't a multi brand shop for 45 miles that will touch either of my non-Honda scooters!
Son and I have purchased 4 bikes from them over the past 10 yrs.
They famously don't deal on the MSRP.
Whatever....they've been there a long time.
Because both my scooters have been bullet proof, with easy DIY...I rarely need their shop. RR tires on my rims is about all I need them for.
The smell in there is interesting!!!

Cool snowmobile (snow machine?) pics!
Can you push one of those around the same way you can push a bike?

Great photos Randy!
Those things are expensive!
Probably why I see so few around here with are limited snow falls.

State has a good trail system if we have enough snow, my next door neighbor has a groomer, I can get on a maintained trail within 500 feet of my property
But, we don't always get enuf snow to make it worth while, a 3 hour trip north to Rangely Maine gets you into good snow
not in my budget, I'd sooner get a hole in the water, the ice always melts and we got plenty of good lakes locally

noticed your comments on the Honda super cub and trail 125's. I have the supercub 125 2021 and thinks it great. once you get used to the auto clutch its a blast! also benefits from getting 125 mpg! I purchased it because of the good reviews and ease of maintenance, so far, everything I read about it is true. the enclosed drive chain is also a good idea. plan on riding a lot more this year so time will tell. funny thing is, I don't see many out there for as many sold.

Don't mean to be nosey.....but I guess I will, anyway.
I have to think I'm too big for a Cub right?....at not quite 6'4" 255lbs.
I'm too big aren't I?....not the first time I wished I wws 5'9" or 10 & 165lbs!
Wonder if new owners are putting them in their living room as keepsakes,!? I'd be tempted....
What color did you get?

Speaking as someone who owned a 125cc Honda and is roughly in your ball park weight-wise Stig, I'd guess you too would struggle to get the little Cub up hills! Shame as they do look great.

I ended up getting the red & white supercub 125. that was the color I was looking for. ended up being Jan. so Honda was having a clean sweep sale so the bike was discounted 400.00! very happy with it but I'm 5ft 6 on a good day, may be too small and they will bog down fast on the hills. My 200 like is much better if there's a lot of hills. I do like the MPG though and its a blast in the corners. the suspension is soft so it rides well over the bumps. to bad you don't live closer to upstate NY, I'd let you take it out. I know there's a few who have completed the Scooter Cannonball with them

Yeah, I think a kid won something in the Cannonball on one of those Cubs.
I first saw these two at a street event in Yellow Springs, OH. Absolutely my fav color Cub!

Then a year later I saw these two red Trails parked at the other end of Yellow Springs!
I was taking a photo when one of the owners walked up.
Yes, those other Cubs belonged to him and his buddy!

Actually, decades ago my 18 yr old wife and I rode our new white Honda 90 all over parts of New England, when we lived in Amherst, MA. Even up Mt Tom. Just used the gears and stayed off faster roads. We had a blast with that thing. 1968, so my wife put hippie flowers all over it.
If these had been avail in 2017 when I bought my Liberty150i.....it would have been a tough decision since I have been stuck on Hondas since that 90! (had 5 Hondas over the past half century)
Enjoy you Cub - photos when you can!

the 190cc I put in my K-Pipe solved that problem. A zillion years ago, I had a CB125S, model year '73 iirc, 45-50mph top speed, maybe 60 down a steep enough hill. I've never been a lightweight, over 200 before I was out of high school, and now, I weigh more than my K-Pipe and I will leave it at that

Good news on the Cub! they make a long single seat for those. I was on the supercub forum in facebook and many taller people are loving them with the longer seat. who knows, maybe in your future? lol

Ride1 in Springfield! That’s where I bought my Like 150i. Looks like they have a pretty good selection now.
