Title: Having trouble accelerating from a full stop.
Post by: devrongrimm on May 15, 2024, 01:48:28 AM
Has anyone experienced this kind of problem with your unit?
When coming from a full stop and then you start to run your scooter it is having a hard time in accelerating.
From 0 - 20 or sometimes 30 kph it so slow, like something pulling it back. But once you're moving about 40 kph there's no problem from reaching 150+ kph.
It is just from the full stop acceleration.
I hope someone could share there experience with me if ever they've encountered the same problem.

Miles on your scooter?
Miles since last CVT servicing?

@devrongrimm welcome here!
First measures in this case should be:
-scoot on mainstand
-brakes pulled and released (stationary brake too)
-try to move rearwheel by hand
-rotates freely, YES/NO

-if NO your rear brakecylinder/disc or hand brake
needs to be revised

-if YES, take off all CVT covers (3) and check whether all moves there properly
-rear alu cover with inserted support bearing stucks sometimes and is hard to remove.

Haven't done any CVT servicing yet. But the miles is almost at 10k so it is scheduled for PMS.  I would have it checked there since you mention it. I'll update here if the problem has gets fixed.

Okay, I'll do this and check the things you mentioned. I'll update once I've checked it.
