Hi, I'm new to this Forum, I know nothing about scooters and I have a rather basic question:
I have a Kymco Agility 50cc that I bought new 9 years ago and drive during summers on a remote island in Croatia. So far 7120km. I have not done any maintenance at all, I just take out the battery and empty the carburator when storing it for the winter. I've had to buy a few new batteries. But now it is not running well: it is weak in the upphills and the ride is "jerky". Unfortunately I often have to ride it with a passenger. My question is: if I take it to the "big city" what maintenance should I ask for that could address the problems I described? Many thanks!

Hello. Welcome to the forum!
Agility is a great little scooter. All things considered, I think if you explain your scooter's behavior, just as you've done here, to a good scooter shop - they should be able to help you.
Good luck!
Regards from Ohio!

Hi Hvar,
Welcome to the forum.
I’ll go out on a limb here and say something like a spark plug or an air filter change in a standard major service could well fix your Agility problems? Croatian island in summer, dusty? See where I’m going with this?
Good luck.

I assume you have at least done oil changes?
What I would at least recommend to check: Airfilter. Transmission oil. Variator belt and weights bits, if carburated engine check that carburator sits tightly and there are no air leaks between carb and intake manifold and check valve clearances.
