Title: gas prices
Post by: blue on December 30, 2010, 12:34:32 AM: Boy at 319 a gallon I bet this is going to be another good summer for scoots if the price keeps going up.
Happy I dont drive a car or truck would not wana pay the price for gas. scooting is the way to save some coin. whats the price of gas wear the reast of you guys are at.

I think blue is right - come spring it may be hard to find a scoot because higher gas prices seem likely.

Saving a good bit of change driving my scoot instead of having a car.

I put about $3 worth of Shell V-Power every 1-2 weeks at about $3.30/gal
My girlfriend puts about $50 worth of 87 octane a week in her Jeep Liberty

Post by: old mod on January 02, 2011, 09:04:41 PM: Fuel prices here in the UK about Â£1.28, $2 per litre, $9 a gallon. That's the reason why at 58 i'm getting back on a scoot, plus the fact i think it's great fun!!!!

Parking is 300 a month ontop of rent for a car and the
gas costs me 1.659 euro a liter @95 Octane ($2.25 a liter or $8.51 a gallon :-[ )
I love my Kymco but will always hate buying gas.
