Hello.
I search for replace xciting 500.
But I cannot find data about Kymco evolution?
Downtown 350i
Xciting S 400
Xciting VS 400
What a difference? How did these maxi scooters evolve? Bigger trunks for next gen? improved CVT?

Biggest and most technically up to date Kymco will be the twin cylinder AK550.
All the models you mention are variants of earlier single pot engines which have been around for a decade or more. My DTX360 for example is a “new” model, but basically a re-clothed Downtown 350!

I’ve had a few big bore scooters and the only 2 I feel are real contenders in the USA are the AK550 and well there isn’t another one ? Unless you count the CV3 and that has 3 wheels and doesn’t require any motorcycle endorsement on your license. My BV400 is a great bike it really has strong points but it’s not a big bore bike . But I would say if you’re an in town rider with occasional highway a 300/400 cc bike is great . But my BV tops out at 97 and the AK at 110 or so so if you’re like me and can only have 1 bike buy an AK .

being a twin, is the AK really a "big bore" @ 225cc/cylinder
