I liked a lot of things about this scooter.
Glad I had the experience!
Genuine 'made-in-Japan' bike.

cool pic!...any updates on finding new homes for the Burgman your daughter(?) was looking at? Your friend's Reflex (or Forza)?

My daughter (ol' #2) has the Burgman in her garden shed. She cleaned it up and it looks pretty nice!
She said I can come by and ride it whenever........
I think not. I only comfortably rode my Burgman prior to sun-rise. 11 yrs experience of work commuting on a scooter (LIKE200i, Forza, Burgman) in this town soured me on riding any other time of day!
Maybe a therapist could explain why I prefer to ride in the dark, in the rain, through deer country - before breakfast - rather than joust with F-150's at 2PM?
In the 1960's and 70's it didn't bother me.
And Joe - is still living with his lovely old red Reflex. He complains about Dino's small price increase, too - but he hasn't quit him either!
sometimes he rides his German 'scooter'.

I tell you - when I walk in there, smell the fresh coffee - and am greeted by a grumpy gang of old peers - it is heart-warming.
I had a 2 week gap - and the next visit made the mistake of describing my order to Dino.
"Large please, with light cream."
He was already picking up a large cup.....glared at me, (Dino does and paint withering glare), and scowled, "'like I don't know?!"
I nearly teared up.

So she is now in possession of the scooter, great! Were you able to help her with any of the maintenance it needed? Did it need any work? Seems like showing your daughter around a scooter would be right up your alley!

my riding buddy has a Burgman. I'll probably ride it sometime. I always think of a scooter to be nimble and light but who knows, a test ride may change my mind. I hear they're really trouble free

That 500lb Burgman 400 rode like a Buick compared to my two light scooters! No substitute for horsepower weight!
