6 years ago I was in Y.S. at 6:30AM for my morning coffee at Dinos.
I parked my scooter & looked across the street and saw the shop owner wedged between buildings next to his shop.....waitng to scare the beejeezus out of Ed*, the first of his senior customers.

After his felony customer abuse - I went across and had him pose for a photo.

you come in out of the dark for a nice coffee and there he is, behind the counter, greeting you in that horrible mask

*that he would ambush Ed, who has been a daily customer for all of Dino's 26+years - gives you some idea of his rowdy behavior. My daughter said that Dino is like a deli owner - transplanted from the Bronx!
I had a couple copies made of these photos and gave them to Dino. He mentioned this morning that his wife still shows them to people around this time of yea.r
