hello, I bought a kymco people 50s 2009 4t it had 70000 km
but when I start it, the gas goes up , what could be the problem.

Your 16 yr old scooter has a lot of miles on it!

To be clear....
Your issue is that it idles way too high after it is started?
Starts OK, just that the engine races.
Do you have any history with it?
Ran OK, for previous owner, or no?
Or had been sitting unused for a period of time??

We've got some pretty clever 'carb' guys here - they should be along soon to help you.
