Title: Oil Screen Size
Post by: shalbern on May 17, 2011, 06:10:41 AM
 ??? Hi,

Does anyone know the outside diameter in mm of the rubber portion of the oil screen for a 2007 p250?
They sell one that's 26 mm and one that's 27 mm. Which one should I buy?

Thanks in advance

You mean just the rubber gasket that sits on the top?  Good question.  I need a new one as well.  Mine was pretty crusty when I put it back in on the last oil change.  My plan: wait until it needs changing again, then walk into the dealer with the gasket.  Of course, I should probably call ahead and make sure they have both...  I wouldn't want to be scoot-less fir a week while they ordered it.

OK, so who dares to measure?

Are there no Caliper Christophers out there in internet land?

Are there no Measuring Marvins?

Are there no Dial Indicator Davids?

Are there no Ruler Roberts?
