Title: need advice on pricing
Post by: gustavostate on May 26, 2011, 05:24:19 AM
I am thinking about buying a People S250.  It has 600 miles on it.  He is asking $3500 which is about $700 over the Kelly blue book value.  Am I wrong or is this way over priced.

Yep. Take the seller what you've found on kbb.com and/or nada.com, and ask why the scooter is worth more.

Just curious, what would my 2008 People S 125 with 30,000 K be worth? I am keeping it unless I get a good offer but don't know what it really should be worth.

Brand new 09 are going for $3899.00 here in North Florida. If you can get him down to say $3200.00 and it is in perfect shape that maybe a fair price. Personally, I'm trying to steal a Grand Vista (08 1900 miles) for less than $2400.00    Wish me luck.   Good luck with yours.
