Title: Broken key, need new lock set?

Hey guys, Slight problem, the other day i hit my knee on my key and broke it off in the ignition. So now im using the broken part of the key to start the scooter  :(  I cant seem to find a replacement lock set for the agility anywhere. is there another kymco scooter that uses the same ignition/seat lock? It still works fine, but im worried about theft if i leave it parked in a lot unattended, and since my only key is broke, i had to unhook the seat lock for the time being. any help?

I don't have an answer for you but, what are you going to do about the gas tank cap?

Maybe take the ignition apart and get the key out and see if you can get it copied. I don't suppose you have a spare?

I didnt get a spare when i bought it, and should of had a spare made in case something like this happens. I guess the previous owner had swapped fuel caps, because the one thats on it is a non-locker, so until i can find a lock set, ill have to ride it like it is and watch were i park it.

I have a lock set with 2 keys for an agility if you want. $25 shipped anywhere inside the lower 48. Check out my sig.

take your scoot to a yamaha dealer they can make a key for ya I lost mine ounce and had a key made for my scoot and they used a yamaha key. or go to a lock smith and tell theam to use a key mold for a yamaha. good luck happy scooting
